The resort check in time is 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In the event you need to check in before 4 PM or after 8:00 PM, please make arrangements with the manager prior to your arrival. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Depending upon the resort reservation schedule we may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out at an additional charge. Overnight guests are NOT permitted, unless arrangements have been made in advance with the manager. Day guests may be permitted at an additional charge of $15.00 per day, providing the resort is NOT at capacity and the registered guest has made advance arrangements with the manager.

All of our units have been renovated with newer kitchens, appliances, carpeting, tile, paint and furnishings. In order to continue to keep the resort in good condition and nice for all of our guests, we require a key and damage deposit. For stays of less than 7 days a minimum of a $100.00 key and damage deposit is due at time of check-in. For stays of 7 days or more a minimum of a $250.00 key and damage deposit is due at the time of check-in. Our rental houses will require a larger deposit between $250.00-$1,000, depending upon number of guests and rental period. Damage deposits for the houses run slightly higher due to the number of persons they sleep and the additional furnishings. The key and damage deposit is fully refundable within 24 hours of check-out, providing the keys are returned, the unit is vacated timely and the property has not been damaged.
ALL OF OUR UNITS ARE “NONSMOKING”. WE TRY OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE ALL OF OUR GUESTS BUT WE MUST INSIST THAT ALL UNITS REMAIN SMOKE FREE. IF ANY GUEST IS FOUND TO BE SMOKING INSIDE A UNIT OR ON A PORCH, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AND WILL FORFEIT THE FULL DEPOSIT.
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY: Advance reservations require a minimum $100.00 deposit or 50% of the total rent due for the stay, whichever is greater. Each unit reservation requires a separate deposit, and deposits must be received within 72 hours of making the reservation. Cancellations made with 45 days or more advance notice are eligible for a full refund. Any cancellations made less than 45 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 50% penalty if the unit is re-rented and full forfeiture of the deposit if the unit is not re-rented. All stays of less than one week must be paid for in full at time of reservation.
Winter reservations require a minimum $500.00 deposit, within 72 hours of reservation. Full payment for one month is due within 90 days of the date the reservation is made, but not less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date. Any cancellations of winter reservations must be made not later than September 1st prior to the rental period to receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change unit numbers, but not size, due to unforeseen circumstances or long-term stays.
We require a minimum 2 night stay on all weekends during our summer season of May 15 through September 15, including all Holiday Weekends. Rental rates are subject to all applicable State Taxes. We accept MasterCard, VISA and Cash for all payments.
Each vehicle will be issued a “parking pass” at time of check-in. Please display this “parking pass” from your rear view mirror or place it in the front windshield glass area of your vehicle. Vehicles not showing a valid “parking pass” are subject to being towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. Vehicles may park only in the designated parking areas. Please do not attempt to park or drive to the beach area or to the lake side of any of the units. DO NOT attempt to launch your boat from our beach area as this is strictly against our policies. The public boat ramp is located approximately one block north of the resort entrance. Please consult the manager for a parking pass in the event you need additional parking for visitors and guests. Additional fees apply for guests spending the day and for additional vehicles and/or trailer parking.
Please do not remove any of the interior or porch furniture, dishes, cooking utensils, linens or towels from any of the units.
NO PETS ARE PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY OF LAKESIDE COTTAGES.
BBQ grills are not permitted on the porches and must remain in the designated "grilling areas" at all times.
Please supervise your children and guests, specifically at the beach and on the dock. No lifeguards are present therefore swimming is at your own risk. No children under the age of 13 are permitted on the dock or at the beach area without a parent or guardian present.
No glass is permitted at the beach area or on the dock.
Swimming is permitted on the North (left) side of the dock with watercraft permitted on the South (right) side of the dock.
Daily housekeeping service is not provided. Guests staying more than 7 consecutive days will be provided with fresh linens and towels upon request. Please see the manager to obtain these items. Maid service is available at an additional charge of $20.00 daily. All units are equipped with remote control color television set, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, heat/air-conditioning, kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, pots and pans, towels and other items normally found in resort style rentals. We do not provide shampoo or cleaning materials. We provide a specific number of towels to each unit based upon the number of persons an individual unit sleeps. These towels are not to be taken to the beach area or used to wash a car or boat
We do not permit loud music or noises at any time. Quiet time in the resort is from 8:00PM to 8:00AM. Guests not respecting the rules and regulations of the resort, as posted here or within your specific unit, may be asked to leave. The owners and managers reserve the right to refuse to rent to anyone, or terminate any unit rental, for any reason or for violation of the rules and regulations set forth to protect and assure each guests comfort and right to peaceful enjoyment.
